Chris has been a member of the Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association since graduating with Class 36-98 from the Police Academy in January 1999.
Chris has served in the BPPA House of Representatives since October of 2004 after being elected as the Last Half Shift Representative in District 4. Chris has also served in the House as a Day Shift MOP Representative and a First Half Representative, again in District 4.
Chris was elected to the BPPA Bargaining Committee in January of 2012 and sat on the Committee through the “Buckalew Award” Arbitration (’10-’16) that returned educational benefits eligibility to all members of the Bargaining Unit and the negotiated agreement (’17-’20) that ultimately restored full educational benefits to all “Quinn Bill” members, as well as many other benefits to the membership.
Chris was elected Secretary of the BPPA in November of 2014 serving in that position from 2015-2017.
Chris was elected in October 2017 for the position of Vice President of the BPPA for the 2018 – 2020, were he currently has the privilege to sit and acts as an advocate for the entire membership of the BPPA.
