Carnell, Pax Editor A FTER THE MOST RECENT EXAMPLE OF EXCES- SIVE FORCEAND BLATANT POLICE BRUTALITY, Imam Abdullah Faarooq and assorted family members of Usaamah Rahim began the usual (yawn) and expected (yawn) tirades through their willing accomplices in the major media about how the police should have “wounded” the poor, misunderstood Usaamah instead of shooting to kill him like a “wild animal”. (The Imam’s words, not mine- all quotes taken directly from the Herald, Globe or major media outlets, guaranteed 100%.) Imam Faarooq was the spiritual mentor for the 26 -year old Usaamah, who had merely expressed his desire to cut off the heads of “the boys in blue” (Ahhh… that would be you and me…) and armed himself with a 10- inch long military bar-knife which is capable of decapitating some- one in one stroke. Imam Faarooq has previously been caught on tape during his inspiring sermons calling for young Muslims to “not be afraid to take up the sword and the gun” against the enemies of Islam. (Ahhm…ditto.. that would again be you and me…the infidels…) Imam Faarooq has also called for the destruction of Israel and the elimination of the Jews. (Whew! Thank God he didn’t say anything about lapsed Irish-Catholics or snake-worshippers! Then I’d really be worried! At long as it’s just the Jews he wants to eliminate!....) Therefore, in deference to the grieving family’s desires to have us just “wing’em” when they’re attacking us with a knife, the BPPA will soon be demanding extensive re-training of all of our officers in “How to shoot the gun/knife, etc. – (fill in the blank here) weapon out of the hands of marauding suspects and make sure we only wound them.” Indeed, it is a lost art-form which the BPD’s range instructors have kept secret from us for years. As a young patrolman, I do recall being instructed in this method of stopping armed suspects, but I believe it was from watching re-runs of Mel Brooks’ “Blazing Saddles.” (You remember the scene where theWaco Kid shoots the guns from the hands of the rustlers?Yeah, that’s it, I knew I saw that training film somewhere!) I demand that we all be retrained in this method of stopping armed scumbags and terrorist savages who desire nothing more than to display for us the military knife that they just got through mail order from the “PraiseAllah and kill the infidels” newsletter/web-site. (Let me cover my butt here—“AllahAkbar”!) Why didn’t those evil police officers and FBI agents realize that Usaamah Rahim was just turning his life around and celebrating religious diversity?According to his family members, specificallyAunt “Karen” ( she wouldn’t give her last name) Usaamah was “murdered”. According to the group “Black Lives Matter”, he was a victim of “the white supremacist state”. (Who knew? Massachusetts?A white supremacist state! And here I thought that liberal moonbats were in charge!) Of course, I am using satire and ridicule to address these obviously
